SCREAM 4 New Poster Release Date and Director!

http://ghostradio.files.wordpress.com/2009/11/scream4poster.jpg
So how did Scream 4 come together?
Bob Weinstein [the head of Dimension Films] felt that 10 years was enough of a wait. He felt it was time to give the original three films their due, so he called Kevin Williamson, who started coming up with ideas. For some years, Kevin had the notion of the general course of the next three movies. There was a point where Bob came to me and said, “We want to start showing you pages — do you want to do it?” And off we went.
Did you have any trepidation about revisiting the series so many years down the road?
No, I’m fascinated by what this movie is. I can’t think of another film that has not only a true trilogy, where you’re following a single central character over three pictures, but has the complexity to the story and other characters that also have continued along. And then 10 years later, to come back to those same characters and same actors, and continue that story in a way that’s totally organic. It’s kind of unprecedented.
Are Sidney, Gale, and Dewey still going to be the central characters, or are they on the periphery this time?
It’s a total integration of those three and new kids. The story of Sid, Gale, and Dewey is very much a part of the movie.
And Sid’s still having problems with Ghostface?
There have been 10 years of no Ghostface, but there has been the movie-within-a-movie Stab. We have fun with the idea of endless sequels, or “sequelitis” as Kevin calls it in the script. Sid goes through these three horrendous things, and Stab was based on those horrible things. And then they’ve been taken by a studio and run into the ground in a series of sequels. She has been off by herself and living her own life, and she’s even written a book that has gotten a lot of critical acclaim. She’s kind of put her life back together in the course of these 10 years. But, certainly, there would be no Scream without Ghostface, so she has to confront him again, but now as a woman who has really come out the darkness of her past.
Can you tease what’s happening with Dewey and Gale by this point?
I don’t think Bob Weinstein would be very happy if I disclosed anything. We have been playing CIA with trying to keep everything secret, and we haven’t put any pages out from the current version of the script, except for things we’ve already discarded. Our first experience with casting this time around, the sides [portions of the script used for auditions] that we used were put on the Internet the same afternoon. It was bad back when we made the other movies, too. On Scream 2, we had the first 40 pages of the script show up on the Internet the night they arrived from Kevin, and we had to do backflips to rewrite the opening.
Speaking of openings, are you at least going to continue with having a couple killed at the beginning of the film?
That’s a strong possibility. [Laughs] Certainly, you will recognize what Bob calls the DNA of the film: a very complex murder mystery, a shocking action picture, wonderful humor based on character, and lots of surprises, as well as a movie that kind of copies itself. It’s a pretty amazing script.
What is your opinion of where the horror genre has gone these past 10 years?
It feels like the end of an era of a certain type of film. There are series of films, a lot of sequels, and a lot of remakes, and part of the humor of Scream 4 is when characters comment on that. “Enough of Saw 25 and all!” [Laughs] A lot of films, directors, and studios are the butts of some of the jokes. In order to figure out what’s happening around them, the characters have to figure out where the genre of horror is. So this is a look at horror after 10 years of a lot of sequels rather than original films coming up year after year. One film is successful, and then they make 25 of them. I think it’s time for something new. I’ve done remakes of my own films, too, with The Last House on the Left and The Hills Have Eyes, but we feel it’s time for something new and different, and that’s what this film is going to be.
But then is it ironic that this is the fourth film in a series?
Yeah, but I’ve never felt like these are sequels. This is a film about the progress of, at this point, three core characters, and how all of these events have changed their lives, and how the events in their lives have been reflected in the movies around them, which they might like or might really not like at all. I think that makes it really different.
As for the poster’s tagline, “New decade, new rules,” are the new rules going to specifically comment on what’s happened these last 10 years with horror movies?
It’s very much about the last 10 years, and where we are right now. “New decade, new rules” is very much the keynote of the film, that is, trying to figure out what sort of rules (the new Ghostface) is following. How do we fight this killer without a road map? We have to figure out where we are.
Are you returning to Santa Rosa, Calif., to shoot?
We’re actually going to Michigan. We found a wonderful small town that looks very much like the town we had in Northern California. Frankly, the tax breaks in Michigan are enormous, so we’ll be able to put a lot more movie on the screen.
But this Michigan town is still supposed to represent (the series’ fictional town of) Woodsboro?
Yeah. I guess I just gave something away. [Laughs]
Can we count on Scream 4 remaining an R-rated movie with blood and guts and all that fun stuff?
I think that’s safe to say. I’ve very excited about it. At this point in my career, Scream is one of the longest running stories I’ve told. It’s fascinating to still have actors who are very much into continuing their roles and have great chemistry. Part of the reason these three characters are still alive is because they’re so great. We haven’t wanted to kill them.
And, should Scream 4 become a hit, you are signed on for Scream 5 and 6, right?
Yeah, I’m signed on for the duration.
If anyone can pull this off, it's Wes Craven and Kevin Williamson! We are THRILLED to see this happening!

This just in! The weather in Hollywood today!!!

WELL THIS IS JUST WRONG!!!!!

http://www.babble.com/CS/blogs/strollerderby/2009/happymeal13.jpg
It is being reported that officials in Santa Clara County, California are looking to ban toys from being included in fast food meals. The logic is that toys make the high-calorie, low nutrition offerings too desirable for kids and if outlawed, will keep fast food out of their mouths.
If the ban is put into action, over a dozen fast food joints, including McDonalds, will be affected. It is the hope of officials that if passed, other areas of the country will follow.
A final vote will come down by the end of next month and the debate will raise one very important question:
Should this be a government issue or a parental one?
i know the happy meal has not been as good as when I was a kid, but this is just wrong! lets save the happy meal!!! are you with me?!!!

The best new show you didnt watch this season..MELROSE PLACE!

http://www.tvovermind.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/melrose-place-promo-pic-768x1024.jpgIn the 90's I was a huge fan of Melrose Place, so when it came back this fall I was very excited! Although the show got off to a slow start the show got very hot and fresh mid season. It began with the murder mystery of Sydney, but did not seem to work so the writers quickly wrapped it up and fired the terrible Ashley Simpson. Heather locklear was brought back and the heat, bed hopping and bitch slapping begin. The shows break out star is Katy Cassidy is the one to watch.
The Show had a great early season finale with the arrest of Amanda Woodward (Locklear). if you can catch this show in reruns this summer, check it out! it has not been renewed yet by the CW, but is far better than the crap fest that is the new 90210 that has been renewed. Come on people give this show a chance!!!! You wont be sorry!!!

Its Here JEALOUS OF MY BOOGIE MUSIC VIDEO!!!

2 More days to sleep again!!!

A word from Jessie Doushbag James

"My whole life has been full of hard decisions.
The decision to let my wife end our marriage, and continue the adoption of Louis on her own, has been the hardest. The love I have for Louis cannot be put to words. Not having him around to love and to hold has left a huge hole in my heart.
Sandy is the love of my life, but considering the pain and devastation I have caused her, it would be selfish to not let her go. Right now it is time for me to beat this addiction that has taken two of the things I love the most in life.
I have always taken great pride in proving people wrong. That time has come once again to show that I am not what everyone says I am. I know in my heart that I can be the best father possible to my four children, and the mate Sandy deserves, and realize that this is an incredible mountain to climb. But I believe that the steps I have taken in the last 30 days are the foundation for making this happen. The lifelong commitment I am making is what being a real husband and father is all about.
I ask that you please do not judge Sandy for the things I have done. She has done no wrong. She played no part in any of this. She has been an amazing wife, mother, and best friend, for the over 6 years we have been together."

Sandra Bullock Shockers! Adopted a Son, Divorcing Jesse James

Sandra Bullock, Louis Bardo Bullock, People Magazine Cover
Sandra Bullock hasn't just become an Oscar winner in 2010.
She's also become a mom, Hollywood's unofficial best secret-keeper and, sadly, a divorcée.
The actress reveals her latest titles in the cover story of the new issue of People, on newsstands Friday. The front page of the weekly shows her beaming with her newly adopted son, Louis Bardo Bullock, and the confession that she and Jesse James are heading for divorce.
The adorable tot is 3½ months old and the result of a four-year adoption process inspired by James' daughter Sunny.
Louis was born in New Orleans, brought home quietly in January and named after Louis Armstrong because his proud mom heard "What a Wonderful World" in her head the moment she laid eyes on him.
"The first time I met Louis, it was like the whole outside world got quiet," she says. "It was like he had always been a part of our lives."
The timing—smack in the middle of awards season—was less than ideal, so the family agreed to keep the new addition out of the headlines until after Bullock picked up her haul of statuettes.
"I did not want him brought into a world that would not have been too sincere to him as I wanted," she claims. "I wanted to be alone with him as long as I could, then we had to tell his story."
But it turns out Bullock will be raising Louis alone, she also confessed. She'll be finalizing the adoption as a single parent.
After the shocking revelation that her husband had been cheating on her, Bullock took her son and left the house as quickly as possible, "before the vultures [descended]."
"Yes, I have filed for divorce," she says. "I am sad and I am scared."
James will remain in Louis' life, however.
"I really don't know how our paths will intersect in the future, but the father I have known Jesse to be...is one that I hope Louis can experience one day, no matter how Jesse and I go on with our lives," she admits.
James echoes some of those thoughts—as well as hope for reconciliation—in a statement he released to People.
"I know in my heart that I can be the best father possible to my four children and the mate Sandy deserves, and realize that this is an incredible mountain to climb," he says. "But I believe the steps I have taken in the last 30 days are the foundation to making this happen."
Larry Hackett, managing editor of People, told the Today show that it was Bullock herself who came to them with the desire to share her big news. He said that, as far as her feelings about Jesse go, "there's no anger. There's sadness, obviously."
"Maybe I needed this to happen so I could be the best mother to Louis," Bullock says. "We wouldn't know the sweet moments in life unless we had the pain. And painfully, I'm going to miss so much."

Maks Lashes Out at Len Goodman: You're "Too Old to Be On" DWTS!

1272372609_maksim-goodman-290.jpg
Maksim Chmerkovskiy is lashing out at Len Goodman after the judge criticized him for ripping off his shirt on Monday's Dancing With the Stars.
Chmerkovskiy, 30, and his partner, ESPN anchor Erin Andrews, got 9s from judges Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba for their samba. But Goodman, 66, gave them a 7 because he felt Chmerkovskiy's decision to rip off his shirt during the dance was gimmicky. "I'm fed up, Maks, with shirts coming off!" he snapped. "She's too good for that!"
PHOTOS: Before they were on DWTS!
"Len is wrong one billion percent," Chmerkovskiy told UsMagazine.com after the show. "He said we didn't have enough substance in samba. Are you out of your mind? I could give you a list right now, probably would take about three pages, of all the steps we did in samba. This is what I do for a living! I know that not everyone knows what goes into this, but I go back to running four very successful dance studios. I have a staff of about 50. I have trained a ton of US champions and world champions, and I've coached [everyone] from juveniles to professionals. Don't tell me what I didn't do right because you're wrong! And if that means you're too old to be on this show and judge, then that's what it means.
"My job here is to support Erin, to teach her, and to try to show her what to do," he continued.
PHOTOS: Who's heated up off the dance floor?
Chmerkovskiy said Goodman shouldn't be surprised by his fiery remarks.
"He can't say that stuff without expecting me to say something back," Chmerkovskiy told Us. "This is my job. If you're going to call me out, expect me to defend myself."

Disney reveals new movies for the next 2 years

http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r66/Dave_Startup/MSPoster.jpgThe head of the Disney film department, Rich Ross, announced the division's plans to move forward with some much anticipted projects.
For Pixar fans, two movies have been given release dates. Brave, a "tale of archery and royalty" features the voices of Reese Witherspoon and Billy Connolly and will be released June 15, 2012. Meanwhile, a sequel to Monsters, Inc. is scheduled for the 2012 holiday season, around November 16.
Richy also announced that he has officially greenlighted three live action movies, appealing more to kids, kids at heart, and people who want to have kids with Johnny Depp: Pirates of the Caribbean 4, The Muppets in 2011 and Prom, a tween-targeted flick, in 2012.

Weekend Box Office! Dragon comes back on top!

 http://www.impawards.com/2010/posters/how_to_train_your_dragon_ver3.jpg
How to Train Your Dragon continued to do its thing over the weekend, and that was all it needed to return to the top spot. New releases The Back-Up Plan, The Losers and Oceans generated little interest, while Dragon's photo finish rival from last weekend, Kick-Ass, conked out. Overall business suffered as a result: it was by far the lowest-grossing weekend of 2010 and was down 13 percent from the same timeframe last year when Obsessed grabbed first place.
Easing 23 percent to an estimated $15 million, How to Train Your Dragon again saw the smallest dip among nationwide releases, though it was actually steeper than its previous two weekends. Its total climbed to $178 million in 31 days, handily eclipsing Monsters Vs. Aliens through the same point. Dragon and Monsters had pretty much the same Spring release pattern and Monsters had a much bigger start, but Dragon ultimately resonated better with audiences. At its current pace, Dragon will vie with Kung Fu Panda to become DreamWorks Animation's highest-grossing non-Shrek movie.
While some movies take time to reach No. 1 (The Blind Side was the last example), it's even rarer for a movie to start at No. 1 and then regain the top spot later on. The last time this occurred was at the end of 2005, when The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe reclaimed the lead over King Kong on New Year's weekend. The other instances from this millennium were The Passion of the Christ in 2004, Finding Nemo in 2003 and Signs in 2002. For a picture to return to the top spot or rise up to it, it has to hold well, but, more importantly, the new movies have to be weak and the other movies have to decline faster. That was certainly the case with How to Train Your Dragon this weekend.
Few donated to Jennifer Lopez's Back-Up Plan, which extracted an estimated $12.3 million on approximately 3,600 screens at 3,280 theaters. That was less than Baby Mama's $17.4 million at 2,543 sites on this weekend in 2008, and the movie's attendance was lower than past pregnancy comedies like Nine Months and Fools Rush In. The Back-Up Plan was also a new comedy low for Ms. Lopez, who was coming off of a five-year hiatus from mainstream movies.
Mining a previously successful genre was a proper move for Jennifer Lopez to rebuild her rapport with audiences, but The Back-Up Plan's premise of a woman getting artificially inseminated only to meet the man of her dreams right after the fact and then going through with that pregnancy wasn't exactly savory romantic comedy fodder. However, in light of recent limited release flops about getting pregnant and motherhood like Miss Conception and Motherhood, one could spin Back-Up Plan as having fared decently. Distributor CBS Films' exit polling indicated that 71 percent of the audience was female, 57 percent was over 30 years old and 21 percent was Latino.
Jennifer Lopez in The Back-Up Plan
In terms of attendance, The Back-Up Plan likely was the weekend's No. 1 draw. That's because 67 percent of How to Train Your Dragon's weekend gross came from 3D showings, which carry a significant ticket price premium over regular showings. Specifically, 56 percent was from normal 3D, while 11 percent was from the even pricier IMAX 3D. Dragon's estimated attendance would likely rank it second for the weekend.
True to its title, The Losers bagged an estimated $9.6 million on around 3,300 screens at 2,936 sites, despite a fairly aggressive marketing push by distributor Warner Bros. Ads promised colorful action comedy hijinks, but the proceedings were too generic to inspire many to pursue the movie theatrically, and the off-putting title didn't help. The opening was far less than similar titles like Shooter, Smokin' Aces, Swordfish and The Big Hit. According to Warner Bros.' research, 60 percent of the audience was male and 64 percent was under 35 years old.
In eighth place, Disneynature's Oceanswas more like a pond with its estimated $6 million start at 1,206 locations, but that was the third highest-grossing documentary debut ever behind Fahrenheit 9/11 and the inaugural Disneynature release, Earth (2009). Earth logged $8.8 million on the same weekend last year, and Oceans also couldn't compare to Earth's mid-week launch. Oceans' marketing didn't offer enough difference from Earth, and it's difficult to recreate a past success: an extreme example is how hard Arctic Tale tried to be the next March of the Penguins and failed miserably. Next up for Disneynature is African Cats on the same weekend in 2011.
Last weekend's high profile release, Kick-Ass, again failed to live up to the hyperbole, despite a new ad campaign proclaiming it the No. 1 movie (which was true for the weekdays, but likely false for last weekend). Instead, it behaved like an average superhero or comic book movie with its 52 percent fall, grossing an estimated $9.5 million. With $34.9 million in ten days, ads can reasonably declare it the highest-grossing live-action superhero comedy on record, but, for all of the movie's supposed buzz, Superhero Movie and Zombieland both held up much better in their second weekends.
Among other holdovers, Date Night hung in there with an estimated $10.6 million, down 37 percent, bringing its total to $63.5 million in 17 days. Clash of the Titans (2010) held about as well as 300 at the same point with an estimated $9 million, lifting its total to $145.6 million in 24 days (but still lags far behind 300). Death at a Funeral (2010) had a standard slip in its second weekend, off 51 percent to an estimated $8 million for a $28.4 million total.

SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE ALL STARS REVEALED!

Twitch, Kathryn McCormick, So You Think You Can Dance
So You Think You Can Dance: It's the moment you've all been waiting for—the moment big boss man Nigel Lythgoe has been twittering about for weeks: Your SYTYCD season seven all-stars are finally here! And we've got to say, with all the afoot at what's got to be our favorite reality competition series (sorry Project Runway, we love you, too!), it's really nice to see some familiar faces.
So which former finalists are heading back to the dance floor for another ride on Mary Murphy's Hot Tamale Train? You've probably guessed at least two (see above: duh!), but are you ready for more? And how about some scoop on Modern Family and American Idol, too?
Obviously, hip-hop extraordinaire Stephen "Twitch" Boss and contemporary beauty Kathryn McCormick are returning as all-star partners, and these are the rest of 'em:
Season two's Allison Holker; season three's Anya Garnis, Lauren Gottlieb, Neil Haskell, Pasha Kovalev and Dominic "D-trix" Sandoval; season four's Comfort Medoke, Courtney Galiano, Mark Kanemura; and season five's Ade Obayomi.
There you have it, you dancin' fools. Are you loving these SYTYCD picks or are you loving them?!
dol, too?

HUGH HEFNER SAVES HOLLYWOOD!!!

Hollywood Sign, Hugh Hefner
While his aesthetic preferences may skew slightly plastic these days, it's nice to know Hugh Hefner still has an appreciation for natural beauty.
The Playboy founder has provided the final donation—a whopping $900,000—to the Trust for Public Land, providing the last push for the group to raise the $12.5 million needed to purchase the 138 acres surrounding the Hollywood sign and prevent it from being developed.
Who better to save a Hollywood icon than a Hollywood icon?
"My childhood dreams and fantasies came from the movies, and the images created in Hollywood had a major influence on my life and Playboy," says Hef. "As I've said before, the Hollywood sign is Hollywood's Eiffel Tower and I am pleased to help preserve such an important cultural landmark."
Hefner joined fellow deep-pocketed preservationists Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson and Norman Lear, along with most studios, networks and various other signophiles, in helping Save the Peak.

The Cove

The Secret Is Out. Spread the Word.

The Cove exposes the slaughter of more than 20,000 dolphins and porpoises off the coast of Japan every year, and how their meat, containing toxic levels of mercury, is being sold as food in Japan and other parts of Asia, often labeled as whale meat. The majority of the world is not aware this is happening.  The focus of the Social Action Campaign for The Cove is to create worldwide awareness of this annual practice as well as the dangers of eating seafood contaminated with mercury and to pressure those in power to put an end to the slaughter.
And it’s been working. The film has been making waves since it premiered last year. Critical praise and audience awards worldwide have focused international attention on Taiji and the annual dolphin drives off the coast of Japan.  Under intense pressure, Taiji called for a temporary ban on killing bottlenose dolphins. The film, which was originally rejected, was shown at the Tokyo Film Festival due to public outcry. Residents in Taiji are being tested for mercury poisoning, and for the first time Japanese media are covering the issue.

Close to a million people have signed on to the campaign, but this is just the beginning. The fisherman are clearly rattled, but haven’t stopped killing dolphins.
TakePart now to help shut down the cove for good.

It was funny and witty and proved Madonna music could be a Broadway show today! The songs were new and Fresh and had me clapping after every number! The CD sound track went to #1 on ITunes in a matter of hours! Somewhere in the English countryside Madonna is Saying Thank you to Glee!! A+++

http://cdn.buzznet.com/media-cdn/jj1/headlines/2010/03/alyssa-milano-romantically-challenged.jpgLast night was the debut of the new Alyssa Milano comedy Romantically Challenged on ABC. Although the show debuted to decent ratings following dancing with the stars, I felt it got off to a slow start. The show failed to introduce any of the characters. Alyssa has a 15 year old son and she still looks 25 even though she is 37. The casting of the sister was all wrong and I felt the laugh track was forcing me to laugh even though I didn't want to. I love me some Alyssa Milano, but this show needs to get a lot better in the weeks to come or I  feel this show is gonna get the axe! Over all i give this pilot episode a C+

Get that Gun of yours and shoot Kate!!!

Dancing With The Stars In character: Anderson performed the quickstep to the theme from 9 to 5Pamela AndersonHow fabulous was Pamela Anderson on DWTS last night! It was movie night and Pamela did a wonderful fun quick step to Dolly Parton in 9 to 5. Pamela looked the part and took me right back to the 80s classic! She finished the dance on top of the office desk. It was my favorite of the night! Maybe she should get that gun of hers and change Kate Goslin from a rooster to a hen with one shot!!!

Sex and the City Soundtrack Scoop!

SATC Soundtrack Warner Bros.
Sex and the City has never sounded better.
If the trailers for the SATC sequel weren't enough to drive us bonkers with anticipation for the movie to open next month, wait till you hear the soundtrack.
I've got the exclusive details on the movie's soundtrack playlist.  It is full of music superstars and even a handful of original tunes. First up…
Alicia Keys performs a cover of Blondie's 1980s classic "Rapture." And it's not just any cover, it's a mash-up with the iconic Sex and the City theme song that's played during the movie's opening theme.
I've heard a snippet and lemme tell ya, it works. "Rapture" and the SATC theme go together like a frosty cosmo and a pair of Manolo Blahniks. It just feels and sounds so right.
Soundtrack label WaterTower Music honcho Jason Linn tells me über-producer Salaam Remi had Keys in mind when he created the mix. "We're so fortunate to have her," Linn said. "She's the perfect voice to introduce the...music of Sex and the City 2."
Next up is the return of Jennifer Hudson. Nope, the Oscar winner is not reprising her role as Carrie Bradshaw's assistant, but she is back in song. She and Brit songbird Leona Lewis duet on an original ballad written for the movie called "Love Is Your Color."
Again, we've heard a snippet—it's friggin' good!
Even the stars of the movie are on the soundtrack with Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristen Davis and Cynthia Nixon performing the Helen Reddy karaoke favorite, "I Am Woman." As you may have already heard, Liza Minnelli covers Beyoncé's "Single Ladies" as well as a new rendition of Cole Porter's "Ev'ry Time We Say Goodbye."
The soundtrack, which also has new music from Dido and Cee Lo, will be released on May 25, just two days before SATC hits theaters.

Has Ryan Seacrest Lost his mind?

1271424521_ryan-290.jpg
Ryan Seacrest says he was "just having fun" on Tuesday night's Idol -- where he waltzed with a random audience member during Tim Urban's performance, did the air guitar and made a sexual quip to Adam Lambert.

"Often, I will playfully do things to amp up the energy for the live show, because it's at the end of my long day," Seacrest, 35, tells the Los Angeles Times of his hyper behavior, which caused Entertainment Weekly to declare that he'd "completely lost his everlovin mind."
PHOTOS: Idol's Top 12 this year

"I was enjoying it. We've done this show for nine years. When they take me out into the audience, sometimes the energy out there takes me to a different place," adds Seacrest, who also hosts a morning radio show on KIIS-FM, produces several shows for the E! network and hosts its news show.

Of his decision to dance with a beefy guy in the audience, which he joked was season 8 contestant Michael Sarver (it wasn't), he says, "That guy looked like the most inappropriate person to dance with, so I figured, 'Let's pick him up and just dance with him for a second.'"
PHOTOS: Amazing Idol makeovers
(Urban, meanwhile, has said, "I didn't really know what they were doing...people were laughing, so I just had to zone out and keep thinking about my song.")

Seacrest says most of his dialogue is "unscripted," including his quip to Lambert (he told the season 8 runner-up, "My tongue isn't nearly as talented as yours") and his joke about season 1 co-host Brian Dunkleman helming Idol Gives Back.

"I was also setting up the fact that we're going to do a 10-year anniversary and look back on all of the different things that have been a part of this show... including my see-through shirts, my frosted tips, Simon with the bad hair and his pants jacked up," Seacrest says, "so the 10th-anniversary season is gonna be fun."

Amanda Seyfried: Pressure to Be Thin in Hollywood Is "F--ked Up"

1271428036_amanda-290.jpg
Amanda Seyfried can't stop thinking about her weight.

"I clearly like being fit, but it's not thin without a hell of a lot of work - I run and I exercise a lot and then I eat," she tells AOL StyleList.
PHOTOS: Scary skinny stars

"I'm in my mid-20s and I know how to look after my body on my own. I'm not going to deny that I don't think about it every day, it's always on my mind," she continues.

The actress, 24, told the April issue of Esquire that she put herself on a restrictive raw diet in which she only ate spinach.
PHOTOS: Stars pigging out

"The week of that interview I was on a raw food cleanse, which I do occasionally," she admits.

Normally, "if I have to diet, it's salad with protein, salmon and broccoli, no dessert," she says. "But what kind of life is that? So I work out a lot and I'm just pretty moderate about what I eat."
PHOTOS: PDA! See pics of Amanda and her beau Dominic

It's her job, she says, to be body-obsessed.

"I have to stay in shape because I'm an actress," Seyfried explains. "It's f--ked up and it's twisted, but I wouldn't get the roles otherwise. If I'd been bigger, I don't think they would have cast me for Mamma Mia!"

Could an UGLY BETTY movie be in the works?

According to Anna Ortiz, who plays Hilda, there could be a big screen adaptation in no time!
She says:
“There may be a movie. It’s something that we’ve been talking about and it’s something that [Ugly Betty star] America Ferrera would really love tohttp://www.pastemagazine.com/blogs/ctrl-v/2008/10/03/ugly-betty-cast-photo.jpg do. That woman has so much determination that I can’t imagine anything she puts her mind to not getting done. Ugly Betty has been the most important thing I’ve ever done, easily. I was able to do more with one character than I can ever imagine doing again — Hilda was hilariously funny and emotionally deep.”

Melissa Etheridge splits from her partner of nearly 9 years

Tammy Etheridge have split after nearly nine years together, People reports. The two have a twin son and daughter, born in 2006; Melissa has two older children with her previous partner, Julie Cypher (and a little help from David Crosby).
Tammy stopped going by the name Tammy Lynn Michaels after she and Melissa exchanged vows in Malibu in 2003 under what was then a newly revised domestic partner law in California. Melissa blogged about Prop. 8 in the wake of its passage in 2008, suggesting she be let off the hook for state income taxes because California didn't consider her a full citizen.
A rep for the two said they were "saddened" to announce their spliEtheridge

Zac Efron to Star as Drug Smuggler in Next Flick

1271352844_efron-290.jpgThe former High School Musical star, 22, will act in and produce a movie called Snabba Cash, Reuters reports. He'll play a cocaine smuggler.
PHOTOS: Zac shirtless!

"I find that it's always more interesting to live out your fantasies through characters," Efron has said. "It's not necessarily that I'm afraid to be myself - it's that you get to do cooler things, you get to me a more interesting person when you're playing someone else. You get to be all the things you wanted to be, or someone else that was really cool, or be someone that you really hate."

Efron pulled out of Footloose because he was afraid to be typecast in just singing and dancing roles. His replacement, Gossip Girl's Chace Crawford, dropped out of the flick due to scheduling difficulties earlier this week.

Snabba Cash, based on a novel by Jens Lapidus, was first released in Sweden.

Efron last starred in 17 Again.

His girlfriend, Vanessa Hudgens, is also taking on a racy, adult role. She'll play Mimi, a drug-addicted, HIV-positive stripper, in the Hollywood run of Rent this summer.

Which Two Idols Got the Boot Wednesday?

1271340060_idol-290.jpg
Michael "Big Mike" Lynche was saved on last week's American Idol, meaning two contestants would get the boot on Wednesday's show.

As the remaining nine waited to hear their fate, Lee Dewyze "looked sick with nerves," an UsMagazine.com eyewitness said of the 24-year-old Illinois native.

But he'll last another week. The first to go: Andrew Garcia, 24, of Moreno, Calif.
PHOTOS: Look back at Idol's Top 12

"When Andrew was told he's off, Katie [Stevens] looked like she was crying, and Dewyze was hugging himself," the witness said.

As he performed one last time, "Tim [Urban] was really into it, dancing along and Tim was the first to jump on to the stage to hug Andrew. Simon [Cowell] spent a few minutes talking animatedly to him, giving him advice."

Also upset: Garcia's wife, who teared up in the audience. "Ellen [DeGeneres] spent a few minutes talking to her and patting her on her arm," the witness told Us.

Next, seventh-season finalist Brooke White performed with Justin Gaston (Miley Cyrus' ex beau), who currently stars on Web show If I Can Dream. "Mike was really into it and was the first to start clapping," the insider said. Afterward, White and Gaston greeted all the Idols on stage.

During the commercial break, "Kara [DioGuardi] was literally hanging off Simon's shoulder trying to talk to him as he walked backstage," the witness said. Before the show started, Cowell kissed her warmly on the cheek.

When the show returned, rocker Crystal Bowersox, 24, was told she's safe and "immediately kissed her necklace for heading for the couch," the witness said. "Siobhan [Magnus] was told she's safe and sat in the sofa with her head in her hands. Lee was told he's safe and clutched his heart in relief."

Season eight runner-up Adam Lambert performed as Stevens, 17, waited on stage to hear if she'd remain on the Fox show another week. "She was visibly gasping with nerves," the witness told Us. "Mike was unsmiling and Tim looked genuinely relaxed and unbothered as he chatted with show stylist Miles Siggins."

When Stevens got the boot, Bowersox "immediately burst into tears. Mike seemed stunned and didn't move or clap at all during Katie's performance. Everyone came on stage and hugged her. Katie was really crying as she watched her season flashback tape with Andrew, who had his arm around her. But he seemed really together and calm."

In the audience: Fifth season finalist Elliott Yamin, who was "greeted enthusiastically by all the judges and Ryan [Seacrest], who spent ages chatting to him during a commercial break."

Kate Hudson Got a Boob Job

Hudson on January 12, 2009 (l) and on April 9, 2010 (r)
"I have small breasts, obviously," Kate Hudson proudly proclaimed at the 2002 Golden Globes. "It's nice to be able to wear a plunging neckline and have it be elegant."
PHOTOS: Stars who love their bodies
Looks like Hudson had a change of heart. An insider says in the new issue of Us Weekly that a plastic surgeon performed a small breast augmentation on the actress, 30, in late March. And the mom to son Ryder, 6, looked noticeably fuller on top while poolside in Miami on April 9.
PHOTOS: Can you guess the bra sizes of your fave celebs?
Explains another source, "Kate makes jokes about her boobs, but her chest has always been one of her biggest insecurities."
Hudson's rep did not return requests for comment.

Kendra Wilkinson says she "really loves" that Britney Spears released pre-Photoshop pics from her old Candie's shoot.
"I might do that too hahahahaha..scary!!!" she Twittered Thuesday.
PHOTOS: More stars who haven't been retouched
The E! reality star, 24, then added: "On my show, i show the untouched all the time..i love bein real n showin my flaws."
So does Spears.
London's Daily Mail reported that the singer wasn't afraid to show the before-and-after Candie's pics because she "is proud of her body -- imperfections and all."
PHOTOS: Stars who've had too much surgery!
Spears' pics weren't drastically altered: Seems her waist and thighs were given a slight nip and tuck and her backside was shrunk. Her legs also appeared shinier in the retouched ads.
