Among
Glee's stars,
Lea Michele, Matthew Morrison, Chris Colfer and
Jane Lynch nabbed nominations; the freshman show is also up for Best Comedy Series.
Notably snubbed: the stars of HBO's mega-hit
True Blood. Although the vampire series garnered nods for Outstanding Drama Series plus writing, casting and makeup, stars
Anna Paquin and
Stephen Moyer were ignored by the Academy.
