Piranha 3D Pushed back!!

PIRANHA-3D
Horror fans looking forward to 3D killer fish on the silver screen will have to wait just a bit longer. The Los Angeles Times reports that the Weinstein Company has moved Piranha, the 3D remake of the cult classic, out of its original April 16th debut for fear of Matthew Vaughn's comic adaptation Kick-Ass.
While no new release has been set, the website reports the movie will likely be moved to sometime in August. The film will star Elisabeth Shue, Adam Scott, Ving Rhames, Richard Dreyfuss, Jessica Szohr, Jerry O'Connell, Cody Longo and Ricardo Chavira. Director Alexandre Aja helmed from a story he wrote with Josh Stolberg.
Plot Concept: Jaws... lots and lots of jaws. From acclaimed director Alexandre Aja ("The Hills Have Eyes") comes the new action thriller "Piranha 3D," in the latest eye-popping 3D technology. A new type of terror is about to be cut loose on beautiful Lake Victoria. After a sudden underwater tremor sets free scores of the prehistoric man-eating fish, an unlikely group of strangers must band together to stop themselves from becoming fish food for the area's new razor-toothed residents. But our heroine (Elisabeth Shue) is seriously outnumbered, and with only one chance to save the lake and her family from totally being devoured, she must risk everything to destroy the aquatic carnivores herself.
